When you access the website, our server automatically stores data in what are known as log files: the page requested, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and your IP address. This data is necessary for the technical operation, stability and security of the website.

The forms on the Contact, Groups & Business and Weddings pages open your own email client with a prepared message. No data is stored on or transmitted to our server in the process – the message only leaves your device once you send it yourself from your email programme.
As soon as your email reaches us, we process the information it contains (name, email address, phone number where given, and the content of your enquiry) in order to answer it.

If you call or write to us directly, we process your details solely in order to deal with your enquiry. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
The booking process at booking.hoessinger-hotel.at is operated by our booking system provider: [Seekda – full company name and address to be added]. When you click “Check availability”, you leave this website and move to the booking system, where that provider’s own privacy policy applies.
All we pass to the booking system are the search parameters you entered (arrival and departure date, number of adults, language). Personal data such as your name or payment details are only entered there, and only by you.

This website loads fonts via Google Fonts. When a page is opened, a connection is made to servers operated by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and your IP address is transmitted to Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out.

In a few places we link to external services – for example to Google Maps for directions, to our Google business profile and to our page on Booking.com. No maps, review widgets or social media content are embedded. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link. That provider’s privacy policy then applies.
To protect against unauthorised login attempts we use the plugin “Limit Login Attempts Reloaded”. It stores the IP addresses of failed login attempts in order to block automated attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (IT security).
Your data is only shared with service providers we need in order to run the website and the hotel – in particular our hosting provider and the operator of the booking system. Data processing agreements are in place with these providers. Your data is not passed on for advertising purposes.
We store personal data only for as long as it is needed for the respective purpose. Server log files are deleted automatically after a short period. Enquiries are kept until your request has been dealt with. Statutory retention periods – in particular under tax and commercial law – remain unaffected.
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
